Christopher Nel

Annique’s commitment to make a tangible difference in people’s live has resulted in the company committing on helping the young Christopher Nel who suffers from Goldenhar Syndrome, covering his medical bills.

Annique helped to raise R78 760 at the company’s Première in March 2011 for a special trust fund for Christopher to cover his medical bills. The money was raised through ticket sales to win a 1-carat diamond.

As Annique is committed to the project in the long run, we made an appointment for Christopher to see Prof Johan Reyneke and they are currently considering various treatment options available to help Christopher reach his full potential.

Annique has also facilitated Christopher being tested for school readiness. He is currently in a special school, Sonitus, but it is believed that Goldenhar Syndrome sufferers can function well in a ‘normal’ school.
